Iranian MiGs were in nineties maintenanced in air bases and overhauled in Iran (Doshan-Tappeh, Mehrabad). aircraft 3-6132, 3-6133 and 3-6104 were overhauled and put in service almost over 20 years after Gulf War! Aircraft 3-6307 in 1994 was used in somehow strange project Talle (Fortune), when in-flight refuelling probe was installed, aircraft even connected with tanker Boeing 707, but fuel was not taken, because probe wasn't connected to internal tanks. | |
