Product 9-14 it was a first attempt to create a multi-role fighter with posiibilities to make a ground attack. One experimental aircraft was built, first flight in February 1985. Television- or laser-guided missiles Kh-25, Kh-28, Kh-31, and bombs KAB-500. Specific is that equipment to control the armament were in external pods "Ryabina" (laser and television targeting pod ЛТПС Рябина [eng. rowan]) and "Progress-N".
experimental 9-14 1985 #407	To build a prototype, an 9-13 airframe was used. Don't know why the leading edges of the wings are black and what is that white areas. Experimental #407. Drawing accuracy: only one side on drawing, sorry, I need more photos!
Programme 9-14 was cancelled and replaced by 9-15, MiG-29M. Prototype was rebuild once again, and became soon a prototype of MiG-29S.
